This.....is NOT a Surprise
Apparently the (currently airing) TV show with the strongest online fandom is..... Supernatural.
That's not a surprise. At all. That's like Sue-Bird-making-a-clutch-shot-to-win-an-important-game not surprising.
Some others on the list were a little surprising, though, but I noticed that several of the non-scifi/fantasy shows on the list star actors who first became famous on scifi shows.* Maybe that's why their fandoms are so strong?
Anyway, the TV Guide video here is adorable:
At 0:55, Jared Padalecki tells a great story about a "fan" he met in Walmart that turned out to be, well, not who he thought. And at 1:25 Jensen Ackles explains what famous person he gets mistaken for.
Oh! And 1:50 Misha Collins describes Supernatural as "Dukes of Hazard meets Twilight Zone". Ummm..... ok?
*Castle stars Nathan Fillion from Firefly. Bones stars David Boreanaz from Buffy and Angel. Hawaii 5-0 hits the scifi jackpot, with Alex O'Loughlin from Moonlight, Daniel Dae Kim from Lost (and Angel), and Grace Park from Battlestar Galactica.
