Catching Ducks

Today at work I mentioned to one of my co-workers that I had already started baking Christmas cookies, and still had many to bake.

She asked me why I was baking so many cookies.

I explained that I was in charge of baking the Christmas cookies for my family. I said my mom used to bake them, but now I did.

She still seemed puzzled by this, which leads me to believe that she grew up in a house that did not have homemade Christmas cookies.

Which is just... sad.

Thanks for saving me from that, Mom!
