Grrr....
When the Seattle Storm lost their first playoff game, it was on the front page of one of the Seattle papers. When they won their second game, neither Seattle paper mentioned it on the front page. It was all Seahawks stuff. I smell a conspiracy!
Or not.
By the way, can someone please explain to me how I became so invested in the Storm? Last I checked, I didn't even like basketball!
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
(And..... GO STORM!)

Storm
I hate it when this happens.
Last night was the Seattle Storm's first playoff game. It aired at 7:00 pm on a channel I don't get (NBA TV), but it re-aired at 11:00 pm on FSN (which I get). I set the VCR for 11:00, watched the first few minutes, and went to bed. I planned on watching the game after work.
Unfortunately, I saw the front page of a local newspaper today, and it said that the Storm lost. :(
I guess I'll watch the game anyway, but it won't be as much fun. On the other hand, I won't get my hopes up....

Quote of the Week
I'm totally obsessed with a German soap opera called "Verbotene Liebe". This quote is from the January 25th episode, when Christian finds out his girlfriend, Coco, kissed their friend Olli.
Christian: Olli? Olli is gay.
Coco: He's bi. He's not only into men, but women as well.
Christian: Since when?
Coco: Since last week. He attended a re-training course to go from homo to hetero and dropped out halfway through.

Quote of the Week
My new favorite show is Burn Notice. It's a about an ex-spy, Michael, who has been "burned" (i.e. fired and black-listed). He becomes a freelancer, using his spy-skills to help people.
"You ever meet someone, and it just seems to click instantly? You like the same things, share the same opinions... it seems like you've known them all your life. It could be fate, or it could be that you have a listening device planted under the dashboard of your car." -- Michael
