The 99ers
I just watched the most recent "Nine for IX" documentary: The 99ers, which is about the 1999 US women's World Cup soccer team.
It was a well done and interesting program, but it made me think the same thing I thought during the 2011 women's World Cup hoopla: I wish I could care about soccer.
I really do! But I just can't bring myself to watch it. Oh well.
