Two good tweets from today's Seattle @ Phoenix game. First up, Richard "WNBAlien" Cohen:
"That was amusing. Ball rotated to [Briana] Gilbreath in corner... and Seattle just watch her. No close out, no nothing. Just 'Take it, kid'. Brick."
And Kevin "used to be the stats guy for the Storm but now works for ESPN" Pelton:
"Curious what the WNBA would be like without point guards? Storm and Mercury offering a demonstration on NBA TV."
[For those curious about the context of the Kevin Pelton tweet: Phoenix doesn't start any proper point guards. They're essentially playing Diana Taurasi at the "one". Seattle starts two, but Temeka Johnson left the game due to injury in the third quarter and Tanisha Wright fouled out in the fourth.)
