BOOM!
Today UConn played Stanford, at Stanford. Going into the game, Stanford was ranked #1 and UConn was ranked #2. Stanford also had an 82 home game win streak going, the longest active streak and the second longest (after UConn) of all women's basketball.
Everyone thought this would be a close, exciting game.
It wasn't.
UConn laid waste to Standford. At halftime it was 31-13. The final score was 61-35. Ouch!

Fun to watch. I hope UConn needs to play their first team on Monday. I'll be disappointed if Oregon is so hopeless that UConn can get by with its 2nd and 3rd string players most of the game.
