The Timeout that Came Too Late
The Storm kept it close throughout the game. With ~30 seconds left, a Sue Bird (who else?) three got them to within one. They got the stop at the other end, and Lauren Jackson secured the rebound. Then....
Then there was a mess.
They had a timeout, but no one called it. With three seconds left, nothing was happening, and finally they used their timeout. After the timeout, they got LJ a shot, but it bounced off the rim.
End of the season.
