RebKell is a women's basketball forums site. It was there that Sue Bird was dubbed "Die Bitches".
Here is the post that originated the nickname: "Seriously..now Sue doesn't even have to show up till the fourth quarter to take us down. Then she's all 'Die Bitches' and she kills us."
I believe the game in question was the 2010 Phoenix @ Seattle game where the Storm were down 18 at halftime and got it to within two by the end of the third quarter.
And here is a good use of the nickname from last night's game: "I'm not counting them out until the final buzzer. I want Wiggy to continue with us and not make us settle back. And Seattle has Die Bitches so...."
