Ugly - Sue Bird = REALLY Ugly
Last night's game against Atlanta was bad. Tonight they played Indiana without Sue Bird or Tanisha Wright and it was much, much worse.
Despite 15 (!) turnovers in the first half, the Storm was only behind 26-35 at halftime. By the end of the game the Storm had 28 turnovers and the score was 48-72.
Like I said: UGLY.
The only slight amusement I had was watching all the post players on the floor together. After being low on post players earlier in the season -- when Lauren Jackson was gone and Tina Thompson & Ann Wauters were both injured -- it was kind of funny to see a line-ups with three post players and two guards-that-are-almost forwards. When Shekinna Stricklen and Svetlana Abrosimova are your shortest players on the court, you've got a tall group out!
