Bad Ending to a Good Game
This was a close game, pretty much throughout. Indiana had a lead at the beginning, but the Storm closed the gap, and took the lead. They held on to that lead for most of the game, but threw it all away in the last few minutes.
With 16 seconds left, the Storm still held a one point lead. With half a second left, Indiana hit a three-pointer. Game over.
In her first game back, Lauren Jackson didn't quite seem to fit into the system. I think she'll be fine, though.
My biggest complaint about the game was that Katie Smith was the fifth player on the court late in the game. I would have much preferred to see Shekinna Stricklen (who had a great game) or Svetlana Abrosimova (who is the fifth remaining member of the 2010 championship team) out there with Sue Bird, Lauren Jackson, Camille Little, and Tanisha Wright.
