Longevity and Injuries

Tanisha Wright played her 250th game on Sunday. She is only the 21st player in the league to play 250 games with one team. (Ticha Penicheiro -- currently playing for Chicago -- holds the record with 369 games for the now defunct Sacramento Monarchs. Sue Bird is the 3rd player on the list and the top player that is still playing for her team. She has 339, so it's likely she'll pass Penicheiro early next season.)

Jayda Evans is reporting that Ann Wauters has a small tear in her Achilles and the Ewelina Kobryn has a strained right hamstring. I'm not as worried about Wauters, but Kobryn has been great off the bench this season. I hope she heals quickly!
