I Love Stuff Like This!
Tully Bevilaqua has been playing in the WNBA for a loooong time. I think she started out in Cleveland? (Yes, Cleveland used to have a team.) She spent 2003 and 2004 with the Storm, then went to play for the Indiana Fever. She stayed with Indiana until last year, when she signed with the San Antonio Silver Stars.
Recently she announced that this would be her last season in the WNBA. Today she played in Indiana for the last time (barring a Indiana/San Antonio finals, of course).
Indiana honored her before the game. San Antonio's coach put her in for the last minute of the game.
I bet the Storm will do something nice for her on September 21st. (It's the last time, outside of any potential playoff games, that San Antonio will play in Seattle.) She was on the 2004 championship team, and she always gets a warm welcome from the fans.
