Non-UConn Updates
Stuff's actually happening in non-college basketball!
As reported before, Storm Coach Agler and CEO Bryant are overseas scouting/recruiting/wooing. Jayda Evans has an update.
One thing they've done already (most of the good stuff can't start until February 1st) is re-sign Allie Quigley (to a training camp contract, I assume). They also waived the rights to some peeps that haven't been in a Storm uniform for quite some time.
Looking forward to the Olympics (I CAN'T WAIT!!!!) Sue Bird says, basically, they're going to have to suck it up and deal with not having the training time their competition will.
Svetlana Abrosimova seems optimistic about Russia's chances, and would really like a gold medal to add to her collection. (Did you know? She's been playing for her national team since she was 17!)
