Update on Sue Bird
The Storm website has an interview. She had been rehabbing from her hip surgery at UConn, but now she's well enough to actually practice:
"I do workouts with [former teammate] Shea Ralph, one of the coaches. She puts me through an hour-long, individual workout, so that's a chance for me to get some individual attention. Then I just go to practice and whatever they are doing, I jump in on. I play against the team when they play five-on-five."
Defending Sue Bird has to be great practice for the college players!
