Quote of the Day: Cathryn Hardy (via John Altavilla)
After the loss to Baylor, UConn moved on to the College of Charleston (in South Carolina). (UConn won 72-24, but apparently they played very poorly.)
Hartford Courant reporter John Altavilla tweeted a comment from a College of Charleston player about Kelly Faris, my favorite UConn player:
Charleston forward Cathryn Hardy played against Kelly Faris in AAU. "I never thought we would cross paths again. I don't even think she knows who I am. But we knew when we played against her. It was like, Kelly Faris, Miss Indiana BB."
[Kelly Faris won four state high school basketball championships when she was growing up in Indiana. Because she is awesome!]
