Quote of the Day: The Dresden Files
From White Night, by Jim Butcher:
[Harry and Murphy have just found out about a group of witches called "Ordo Lebes".]
Murphy: Ordo Lebes. My Latin is a little rusty.
Harry: That's because you aren't a master of arcane lore, like me.
Murphy: [rolling her eyes] Right.
Harry: Lebes means a large cooking pot. Translates out to the Order of the Large Cooking Pot.
Murphy: Or maybe Order of the Cauldron? Since it sounds so much less silly and has more witchy connotation and all?
Harry: Well, I suppose.
Murphy: [amused] Master of arcane lore.
Harry: I learned Latin through a correspondence course.
