LJ Always Gets Her Way
Before the game, Brian Agler was quoted as saying that Lauren Jackson probably wouldn't play against San Antonio. "We probably won't play her tomorrow just from the standpoint of all these games mean something to us for playoff seeding but trying to push her on a back-to-back when we've got two home games coming up might be a risk. I'm going to talk with her and see how she feels and we probably won't make that decision until tomorrow game time just to see how she responds."
Did she play? Oh yes.
The game in San Antonio was close, but Seattle pulled into the lead in the third quarter and never let go.
There were several exciting shot-clock beating shots from the Storm, including a long three from Lauren Jackson and a banked three from Swin Cash. Those were pretty cool!
It's only their second road win against a non-horrible team this season. (The other was against Phoenix.)
Phoenix won tonight, too, so it's good that we got the win tonight.
