NBA stars: We might go play overseas!
WNBA stars: Welcome to our life!
The Storm dropped rookie Krystal Thomas and signed Allie Quigley. Quigley's a guard (whereas Thomas was a post player), so I'm guessing they're comfortable with Ewalina Kobryn being their back-up post player.
Courtney Vandersloot was invited to train with Team USA back in May, and now she's officially been added to the player pool.
Remember SueBirdsHair? (And its distressing lack of an apostrophe?) Apparently the Storm players who Tweet are playing along. Katie Smith (who wore a bun in a recent game, instead of her usual ponytail) asked SueBirdsHair "bun or ponytail?" and SBH replied "You're definitely on Team Ponytail." SBH has also heard from Lauren Jackson (!) that its been a topic of conversation in the Storm locker room (!).
