Disappointing Evening
I had three goals tonight:
#1 Surprise my mom by getting a Sue Bird bobblehead for her.
#2 See the Storm win.
#3 Introduce another friend to the awesomeness of Storm basketball games.
The results were disappointing...
I got the bobblehead, but she got one herself and didn't need it.
The Storm lost. Badly.
According to Jayda Evans' liveblog, "The team missed shots and Bird became so frustrated [with her teammates not running plays], at points she stopped running her team."
The only good news is that my friend really enjoyed the game (!) and wants to come to another. Yay!
But: ugh.
