Tomorrow, vs. L.A.
The Polish chick (Ewelina Kobryn) has finally had a chance to practice with the team, so hopefully she'll be able to contribute.
I remember reading during the 2010 Finals that Le'Coe Willingham was in an elite group of WNBA players that had gone to the Finals with three different teams. (Only one or two other players had done it.) Seattle and Phoenix, obviously, since they were the teams she won her championships with, but the other was Connecticut. A local Connecticut paper had a nice interview with her.
Speaking of Le'Coe, at tomorrow's game against L.A. she'll be matched up against Ebony Hoffman, who's starting in place of injured star Candace Parker. From the Storm's preview of the game: "Hoffman and the Storm's Le'coe Willingham matched up as power forwards during the 2009 WNBA Finals, when Willingham's Mercury got the better of Hoffman's Fever. Now, both players are filling in at center."
In other news, Lauren Jackson is already beginning rehab.
