Nowadays, Diana Taurasi hazes the rookies. But in 2001, she was the freshman:
[After a snowstorm] the plane lands in Hartford, the only cause of distress is from Diana Taurasi. She won a Woody the Woodpecker stuffed animal at Dave & Buster's and, as she napped during the trip, someone absconded with it.
"Where's Woody?" she yawns, searching the overhead compartment. "Where's Woody?"
Svetlana Abrosimova stands up across the aisle from Diana. "Items overhead tend to shift during flight," she says with a grin.
