Katie Smith Found Her Jumpshot!
The first half was the same ol', same ol'. But then! In the second half she made two three-pointers in a row! And then one more, for good measure! Hooray!
Swin Cash and Tanisha Wright also had high-scoring games (and Sue Bird had a high-assist game, which is always a good sign). Needless to say, they won! Yay!!!
A weird beginning to the game, though, when WNBA legends Tina Thompson and Ticha Penicheiro were not starters for L.A. For Tina Thompson (the original #1 draft pick), it was only the second game in her career than she didn't start. Wow.
But it did lead to a bit of a problem at the end of the game when Seattle cleared their bench, but L.A., well...
