A Disappointing Ending
Last night's game against San Antonio was a heart-breaker. (For Storm fans, anyway.)
So close!
As Richard Cohen says, "Ugly game for Seattle, but on the bright side at least they were in it. Bird couldn’t hit anything, they had no interior game at all, Cash was poor and they went a miserable 7-16 from the free throw line – but lost by just three on the road."
In better news, Sue Bird and Swin Cash were both voted to be starters in the All-Star Game.
Four of the West's starters are UConn graduates, and one of the East's starters. That's half! That's insane. Someone over at Swish Appeal pointed out that UConn "looks like they are the only college who could field an entire WNBA team, [and that team] would not only win the title, but could dominate the league."
