Next Day Thoughts & News
My thoughts:
With Sue Bird hitting the big shot with less than three seconds left, Game 1 of the finals superficially looked a lot like Game 2 against Phoenix. But I was thinking about it today, and in a lot of ways it was more like Game 1 against Phoenix.
In both Game 1's, the opponent's leading scorer had an off night (Phoenix's Diana Taurasi, Atlanta's Angel McCoughtry). For the Storm, both games had Swin Cash not at her best. In Game 2 against Phoenix, Diana Taurasi came back in a big way. Presumably Angel McCoughtry will, too. Hopefully Swin Cash can make a comeback as well!

News:
In not-great-but-not-horrible news, Seattle's Abby Bishop got bonked on the head during practice and had to go to the hospital. She was diagnosed with a concussion.
