Playoff Game #2

Bad start. Baaaaad start. L.A. was up 12-5 midway through the first quarter.

But the Storm know how to re-adjust, and re-adjust they did!

When we were up by more than ten with less than two minutes left, I finally relaxed.

Next up: Phoenix!

ETA: Some good quotes from Jayda Evans' liveblog:

"There's also a small crowd for the noon matchup. So small to start, that the Storm fans -- some in metallic green and gold wigs -- could be heard across the arena."

"Milton-Jones and Jackson shook hands! Neither looked at each other, but it was a pregame shake as part of the captains' circle with officials."

"LA up 7-4 and the crowd is chanting 'Beat the Storm' -- a first."

"As discussed on press row, the opening quarter is about as good as LA can play and the Sparks' lead was only five points. If the Storm turn it on, the game is over."

"Thompson sank two three-pointers, one with 2.1 remaining in the third quarter, to get the crowd something to cheer about. But LA is down 64-54 heading into the final quarter and the Storm is solid when leading heading into the final stanza. Shoot, they're 13-6 when not leading going into the final stanza."
