I Don't Think They Meant That To Be Funny....
I drove by one of the Kent high schools tonight. The big electronic sign showed these messages, in this order, on its screen:
Teachers' work stoppage continues.
School canceled until further notice.

The Kent School District says that classes start next week, per court order. Do you want to do some temp teaching when the teachers don't show up?
Of course, the ones who really need to be fired are all the extra administrators -- but their jobs never seem to be in question.
