Keith Olbermann Comments on Prop 8

My favorite part:

"I keep hearing this term: 'redefining marriage'. If this country hadn't redefined marriage, black people still couldn't marry white people. Sixteen states had laws on the books which made that illegal in 1967. 1967. The parents of the president-elect of the United States could not have married in nearly one-third of the states of the country their son grew up to lead."

Comments:
Marriage has always been defined as a man and woman.

Man-made laws disallowed mixed marriages. Just as man-made laws disallow two 10 year-olds to marry.

First of all, did you watch the whole thing?

As to your comment:

1) No, it hasn't. In many cultures, marriage has been defined as one man and several women. Even today there are parts of the world where polygamy is practiced. (Like, say, Utah.)

2) "Man-made laws"? As opposed to God-made laws? So.... you think we should obey all the laws in the Bible (Or Koran, or Talmud, or....)???

3) You're comparing two adults of the same gender marrying to two children marrying? Huh? How are those related in any way? 10-year-olds aren't able to make that decision.
