Grammar
Bad grammar in print -- especially in advertisements -- drives me batty. Yesterday I saw a sign advertising "Smoke 'n Hot Deals". Aarrgghhh!!!!! It's not "Smoke and Hot Deals", it's "Smoking Hot Deals". So it should have been "Smokin' Hot Deals". See? It's not that complicated, right?
But at least that was a local roadside advertisement. I still have nightmares about watching a program on Bravo (a national, basic cable television station) and seeing a blurb in the corner of the screen informing me that "Your watching Bravo!" Ugh. I actually emailed them to complain about that one.
