Ian McKellan was on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson the other night...
Craig: I remember hearing stories about Sir Alec Guinness, when he had done the Star Wars movies, he didn't like people bringing up Star Wars because he felt that his body of work was more important than doing those movies. Do you have a problem with the immense success of The Lord of the Rings?
Ian: No I don't. But then, I think my part in Lord of the Rings was better than his part in Star Wars.
