Evidence
Thanks to Jack's bad influence, I watch C.S.I. and Without a Trace. When I'm watching the detectives investigate a crime scene, I sometimes wonder what they would think of my apartment. For instance, I currently have a toothbrush wrapped in saran wrap sitting on a shelf in my fridge. What conclusions would they draw from that?

Uh, why? Are you performing a bacteria growth test at several temperatures? A taste test?
Based on my testing, I have concluded that a toothbrush needs to be scrubbed with toothpaste and dried for several days before long term storage in a confined place (like the little travel toothbrush holders). Otherwise, they taste bad. Also, tap water stored in a clean water bottle has an indefinite shelf life in the refrigerator, but less than a week sitting in a hot car during the summer. Maybe you could tell me, but I think the bad taste comes from bacteria growing in the bottle or toothbrush.

When I unexpectedly spent the night at my parent's house a few weeks ago, I didn't have a toothbrush. My mom gave me a toothbrush to use, and I wrapped it in saran wrap to bring it home. I stuck it in the bag that had some food my mom was sending home with me. When I got home, I put the whole bag in the fridge. I ate the food, but never moved the toothbrush.
