Literature Map
This is kind of fun: Literature Map.
You enter the name of an author you like, and it gives you a map of other authors that are recommended. The closer the name is to the one you entered, the more recommended they are.
What's kind of funny is that when I entered (one of my favorite authors) Steven Brust, I got Stephen Brust, CJ Cherryh, C.J. Cherryh, Lois Bujold, and Lois McMaster Bujold. I think there's a few flaws!

Dude, unreal. I independently discovered this site (and just sent a "hey, play with this!" email to my librarian aunt. There's got to be some law or theory out there to explain that phenomenon.
Sorry, there was meant to be a ")" after the word "aunt" in my previous post. Alas, 1) I forgot it, and 2) it doesn't appear that I can edit my comments. Il'l jsut haf too prufreed gooder frmo no onn.
