Catching Ducks

My looks about the same, with a bit more of Europe filled in, but not Scandinavia. ... And that's not a Mercator Projection. It's a Whoozeewhatsit Projection.

What the heck's a Whoozeewhatsit Projection? And anyway, it looks like a Mercator to me.
 

Greenland and Alaska are way too squished for it to be Mercator. The Whoozeewhatsit's actually an Equidistant Cylindrical Projection.
 

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Greenland a part of Denmark, which you included? That way you can include the entire northern part of the northern hemisphere.
 

The people who made the website decided that they'd keep some places (like Denmark and Greenland, and France and French Guyana(?)) separate, to keep the map from looking too weird.

btw, I want to see Jack's map. When she gets back from her latest business trip .... to Palau!

I bet her map will look cool. :)
