"Nice" weather
Here in the northern hemisphere, summer is fast approaching. People are all cheerful about the blue skies, lack of rain, and warmer temperatures.
BAH!
I hate blue skies, no rain, and warm temperatures!!! I want clouds, and rain, and COLD!
If one more person mentions the "nice" weather, I think I'm going to SCREAM!!!

Actually, I'm kidding. It is nice today -- cloudy and cool, with a little bit of rain. Beautiful!! :)

Riiiight.
Actually, according to TV shows set in Seattle (e.g. Dark Angel, Frasier), we don't just get rain all the time, we get downpours. Downpours complete with thunder and lightning, no less! I hate to break it to the fine folks of Hollywood, but we only get thunderstorms a couple of times a year! Heavy rains more often, but they only last a few minutes, not hours on end!
The really sad part is that Dark Angel was filmed in Vancouver, BC. You'd think they could have just looked outside their windows and noticed the weather!
